For over 10 years, The Shalom Project has grown as we have continued to find ways to more fully serve those in need in our community with a variety of basic services. A growing body of evidence suggests that access to the right support at critical moments can determine whether a household is able to capture an opportunity to move out of poverty or absorb a shock without being pushed further into crisis.

Importantly, The Shalom Project has launched longer term initiatives in recent years to advocate for greater community engagement in reducing poverty (see PCCI and Flourish).
