Give Time

The Shalom Project operates with the loving efforts of 100+ volunteers each week. If you wish to use your time and gifts serving those in need in the fight against poverty, we may be just the place for you! We promise that you will have the opportunity to build genuine friendships across race, class and culture in a warm and supportive community. You might set up and distribute the food in our pantry,  sort clothing donations and/or help our guests shop, serve meals at our Welcome Table, provide medical care in our clinic, assist with fundraising events, serve on our Board. Any time you have to share is welcome: weekly, monthly, or for a special event. Please fill out the form below and our staff will be in touch with you to discuss your skills and talents and where you want to serve.

Give Merchandise

We gratefully accept clean, in season clothing, shoes and accessories for all sizes and ages, as well as small household goods (non glass), toiletries, toilet paper, cleaning products, diapers, etc.  Our food pantry can accept any non-perishable food items and paper goods. We welcome any special collections/donations from businesses, organizations or groups you are a part of and are ready to partner and coordinate in any way we can. If you have a large donation that we can help transport, please call the office at 336.721.0606.
